In February 2018, Legitbradd got married and decided to sell his gym business to pursue full-time content creation a few months later. He had only been streaming since January as ‘Brad Plays’ by that point.
His main motivation for doing so was the diagnosis of his son with non-verbal autism. He began streaming on Twitch in June 2022 after experiencing a massive setback on his Facebook channel in March and struggling to recover from it. He continued on that platform until early April 2023 when he transitioned to Kick instead.
